About Chazak

THE MISSION

Chazak Rescue is a faith-driven nonprofit organization with the mission "to train and deploy specialized teams to bring leadership, humanitarian aid, and hope to war zones and high-risk areas." They equip and send teams of professional first responders into war zones and natural disasters around the world. Whether it's wars, earthquakes, or flooding, their goal is for their teams of Guardians to be among the first to respond when disaster hits. Their teams care deeply, they touch people at their lowest, and they bring hope to brokenness.

TIMELINE

August 2025

Move to

Pennsylvania

Living nearby allows us to be immersed in the community, fully engaged in training, and available for immediate deployment when disaster strikes. It’s a big move, but one we believe God has clearly led us to make in preparation for the mission ahead.

January - June 2026

Chazak Foundations

This immersive, 6-month course offers a powerful introduction to the mission. It combines hands-on rescue training, spiritual formation, and team building. Participants earn key certifications, experience field simulations, and get a real taste of life on mission—serving both practically and spiritually in high-pressure, real-world environments.

August 2026

Chazak Academy Year 1

We begin with intensive hands-on training, including Wilderness First Responder, Swiftwater Rescue, Ropes Rescue, and Technician Class HAM Radio certifications. This year focuses on developing essential medical, technical, and communication skills needed for frontline deployment.

August 2027

Chazak Academy Year 2

Building on Year 1, we enter advanced rescue scenarios, team leadership development, and cross-cultural ministry preparation. This year may include field deployments, simulated disaster missions, and further specialization—equipping us to serve effectively in high-risk environments.

August 2028

Deployment Year

This is the culmination of our training—a year spent on active deployment with experienced teams. We’ll respond to real-world crises, from natural disasters to conflict zones, providing medical aid, rescue support, and the hope of Christ. It’s a year of full-time ministry, service, and putting everything we’ve learned into action.

2029

Graduation Year: Continuing with Chazak??

As we near graduation, we are prayerfully considering continuing long-term with Chazak. This ministry has become more than just a training ground—it’s a clear expression of our calling. We’re seeking God’s direction as we discern whether to join full-time staff, take on leadership roles, or deploy long-term to areas in crisis. Our heart is to remain available and obedient—wherever the need is greatest.

Certifications & Skills

Over the course of this intensive program, I’ll receive training that is both physically demanding and spiritually forming. I will be equipped to respond in some of the toughest environments on earth, with a strong foundation in both rescue operations and Christ-centered service. Here are a few I will earn:

Class 2 Doing Rescue Scenario in Deadwood.jpg

Wilderness First Responder

Equips you with the skills to treat life-threatening injuries in remote, high-risk environments. Through hands-on training and real-world scenarios, you’ll learn to assess, stabilize, and care for others when professional help isn’t an option. Ideal for missionaries, rescuers, and anyone serving where emergency care is far away.

Rope Rescue Certification

Training in high-angle rescue, rappelling, and rope systems to safely reach and evacuate people in hard-to-access, disaster-impacted terrain.

Swift Water Rescue

This certification equips us with the skills to operate safely in fast-moving water during floods and natural disasters. Training includes self-rescue, victim retrieval, rope systems, and the use of rescue gear—preparing us to respond quickly and effectively when lives are at risk in water-based emergency situations.

Technician Class Ham Radio

This entry-level license certifies us to operate HAM radios for emergency communication. It enables reliable long-distance contact when cell towers and internet are down—critical during disasters or remote missions. We’ll learn radio operation, emergency protocols, and how to stay connected when it matters most.

...and Much More!!

Throughout our time in this program, we’re receiving extensive training beyond the core certifications—including survival skills, trauma care, team leadership, security awareness, cross-cultural ministry, and more. Every element is designed to shape us into well-rounded, spiritually grounded responders, ready to serve in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

These certifications and experiences will prepare me to serve immediately on the ground—helping people who are suffering and bringing the hope of Jesus into situations that often feel hopeless.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

To complete this program and step fully into this ministry, we need to raise $150,000 to cover the next three years of schooling. These funds will cover tuition, equipment, gear, deployment costs, and living expenses during this training season. We am looking for monthly partners who are willing to walk with us long-term—supporting both my training now and the missions I’ll be deployed to afterward.

This journey is not something we take lightly. It’s dangerous, difficult, and at times overwhelming. But we believe Jesus calls us to go to the ends of the earth—and sometimes, that means going straight into the chaos, into the brokenness, into the pain. That’s where we want to be—faithfully present in the hardest places, fully equipped to serve, rescue, and share His love. If you feel led to partner with me in any way—financially, prayerfully, or by sharing my story—we would be deeply honored. Your support helps send me, and together, we get to be part of God’s rescue plan for a hurting world.
